In the 12th minute Leandro-Atilio Romagnoli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gotzon Ecija saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Deportivo Alianza Lima. defense, Jairo Astigar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gotzon Ecija. The Deportivo Alianza Lima. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gotzon Ecija should have stopped the shot. 23 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo 11's goal looked a bit too open when Quintyn Odoardo came free, but Primitivo Orixe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Deportivo Alianza Lima.'s goalkeeper Gotzon Ecija had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jairo Astigar. Leandro-Atilio Romagnoli really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. 44 minutes into the match, Deportivo Alianza Lima.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Astigar came free, but Gotzon Ecija reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute, Gualterio Aragones reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gotzon Ecija. The goal made the score 6-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Quintyn Odoardo was the one to do the kick off. Primitivo Orixe made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Luis Colado sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Alianza Lima.'s Ezkerra Valdecañas got a free kick in the 60th minute. Gotzon Ecija stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jairo Astigar's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Gotzon Ecija took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro-Atilio Romagnoli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute Jairo Astigar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gotzon Ecija saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Santio Villaran fired a really elegant long shot, but Primitivo Orixe threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Santio Villaran's late challenge caught a San Lorenzo 11's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santio Villaran helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th match minute, Deportivo Alianza Lima. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santio Villaran to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, Jairo Astigar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Lorenzo 11 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. After a rather tough play, San Lorenzo 11's Raimundo Osorio got a free kick in the 91st minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Colado couldn't finish the play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. San Lorenzo 11 had played much better football throughout.
