Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tony Hedberg in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Uriel Raymon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oskar Kilman in the 35th minute of play forced Velez Sarsfield's goalkeeper Uriel Raymon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Billesholm's Tony Hedberg in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Johan Pihlblad was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Isaac Marcones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melker Barck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Velez Sarsfield's Angelo Seme got a free kick in the 58th minute. Ingmar Blomberg kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Velez Sarsfield's zone, Herman Åkerman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uriel Raymon came out of the goal and Herman Åkerman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68th minute, Billesholm's Kenny Wallin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Billesholm's Melker Barck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Marcones in the 71st minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Velez Sarsfield's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Fagerberg came free, but Uriel Raymon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Uriel Raymon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herman Åkerman in the 76th minute of the match. When Oskar Kilman came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Billesholm fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oskar Kilman couldn't finish the play. If Herman Åkerman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Benicio Danel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Velez Sarsfield's Rodolfo Flores got his second yellow card of the match in the 95th minute. The referee ordered Rodolfo Flores off the ground.
