Spectators: 7514 (Terracing: 5636, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Isaac Marcones made the kick off which started today's match. Isaac Marcones took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Johnny Reyes. Johnny Reyes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. With an all-out effort, Velez Sarsfield's Johnny Reyes threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Isaac Marcones, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 10 minutes, Cristian Griffin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Lea Papá and the Velez Sarsfield players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Lea Papá's Cristian Griffin got a free kick in the 10th minute. If Isaac Marcones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Griffin in the 15th minute of play forced Velez Sarsfield's goalkeeper Uriel Raymon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Velez Sarsfield's goal looked a bit too open when Jack Ocampo came free, but Uriel Raymon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Genaro Arginas short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Johnny Reyes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Genaro Argina in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Johnny Reyes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Isaac Marcones received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Johnny Reyes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelo Seme's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Johnny Reyes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cirino Smith stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cristian Griffin was shown his second yellow card after 51 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 51 played minutes Club Atlético Lea Papá got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Griffin. Benicio Diagur blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Johnny Reyes having to make a save. 57 minutes into the match, Cirino Smith notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Velez Sarsfield's Uriel Raymon. Uriel Raymon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Isaac Marcones took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Johnny Reyes. Johnny Reyes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Johnny Reyes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Marcones in the 64th minute of play. Club Atlético Lea Papá's Johnny Reyes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Gilesindo in the 65th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Victorio Gilesindo made a precise shot to the right of Johnny Reyes. Club Atlético Lea Papá's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Uriel Raymon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cirino Smith in the 71st minute. In the 74th minute Isaac Marcones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnny Reyes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johnny Reyes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benicio Diagur in the 78th minute of play. Johnny Reyes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaac Marcones went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. When Lino Rangel fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Lea Papá's protests and gave Lino Rangel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th minute, Lino Rangel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Atlético Lea Papá's Johnny Reyes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Gilesindo in the 85th minute of play. Martín Casagrande's late challenge caught a Velez Sarsfield's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martín Casagrande helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th minute, one of Club Atlético Lea Papá:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Club Atlético Lea Papá. Arsenio Dalmai shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After 94 minutes, Benicio Diagur mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Velez Sarsfield and the Club Atlético Lea Papá players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Velez Sarsfield's Benicio Diagur got a free kick in the 94th minute. Uriel Raymon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jack Ocampo, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Velez Sarsfield fully deserved thier win.
