The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Mané Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipolito Deunoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Léo Pitta's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 6thth minute, Hipolito Deunoro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Hipolito Deunoro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Josué da Cunha went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Hipolito Deunoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josué da Cunha in the 12th minute of the match. After some careless play in the REAL RIO CRVG defense, Camilo Phelipe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Régis Mota. The REAL RIO CRVG fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Régis Mota should have stopped the shot. 17 minutes into the game, Joel Ixona was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TotoRACING's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave REAL RIO CRVG the free kick. Léo Pitta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Léo Pittas short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Hipolito Deunoro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice moves Léo Pitta could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Hipolito Deunoro however easily saved by the left post. Igor Mikolas was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 38 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the game, one of TotoRACING:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 44th minute David Serafo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Régis Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Josué da Cunha took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Hipolito Deunoro to make any attempt to save it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Léo Pitta to make the kick off. When Ricardo Ortiz fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored REAL RIO CRVG's protests and gave Ricardo Ortiz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of TotoRACING booed when REAL RIO CRVG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camilo Phelipe hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. If Josué da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hipolito Deunoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mané Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Hipolito Deunoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josué da Cunha in the 72nd minute of play. REAL RIO CRVG's Régis Mota proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save REAL RIO CRVG from getting a goal against them. When REAL RIO CRVG's Josué da Cunha in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TotoRACING's goalie prevented a goal. 80 minutes into the game, REAL RIO CRVG's Josué da Cunha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hipolito Deunoro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josué da Cunha in the 83rd minute of play forced TotoRACING's goalkeeper Hipolito Deunoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Serafo's late challenge caught a REAL RIO CRVG's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Serafo helped the player get up and apologised. Hipolito Deunoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Léo Pitta in the 91st minute of the match. Léo Pitta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Hipolito Deunoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. REAL RIO CRVG's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
