Spectators: 7524 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Antero Vadillos kicked off to start the match. Gilmar de Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pello Cameno in the 5th minute of the match. Willian Severo hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute of the match Macerio Sarro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gilmar de Mendonça showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Antero Vadillos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 22nd minute Antero Vadillos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilmar de Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Antero Vadillos came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Club Deportivo O IRIXO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antero Vadillos couldn't finish the play. Gilmar de Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antero Vadillos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Botafogo AP's Caco Matos got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sílvio de Barros hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After 33 played minutes, Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Macerio Sarro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gilmar de Mendonça came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Deportivo O IRIXO reached it. Gilmar de Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pello Cameno in the 37th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Caco Matos made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Antero Vadillos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Gilmar de Mendonça was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Iosu Toledo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute, Pello Cameno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60thth minute of the game Caco Matos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Leonardo Romani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gilmar de Mendonça was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Antero Vadillos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Antero Vadillos really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. In the 67th minute, Botafogo AP's André do Nascimento seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed André do Nascimento the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Botafogo AP protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and André do Nascimento had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Botafogo AP's Lino Trancoso was substituted for Ronaldinho Félix. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Botafogo AP! After having played for 80 minutes, Antero Vadillos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Deportivo O IRIXO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antero Vadillos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Botafogo AP made a substitution. Artur Passos replaced Sílvio de Barros. Hitzeder Palomar charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hitzeder Palomar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 84 played minutes Club Deportivo O IRIXO got a freekick which was hit by Hitzeder Palomar. Gilmar de Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antero Vadillos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hitzeder Palomar hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After 90 minutes of play Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Hitzeder Palomar was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Hitzeder Palomar kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match.
