Hitzeder Palomar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Viriato Horta made a huge save. Viriato Horta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antero Vadillos in the 11th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the game, Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Pello Cameno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Viriato Horta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 17 minutes into the match, GD JULIO DINIS's goalkeeper Viriato Horta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pello Cameno. When Hitzeder Palomar fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Deportivo O IRIXO's protests and gave Hitzeder Palomar a yellow card for diving instead. GD JULIO DINIS's Patrício Bernardes got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Viriato Horta threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Antero Vadillos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, GD JULIO DINIS's Gentil Quaresma got a free kick in the 27th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gentil Quaresma during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th match minute, GD JULIO DINIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gentil Quaresma to maneuver through the defense. After 32 minutes of play, Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Antero Vadillos made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Viriato Horta was left in no man's land by his defense there! 37 minutes into the match, GD JULIO DINIS's goal looked a bit too open when Iosu Toledo came free, but Viriato Horta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hitzeder Palomar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Viriato Horta came out and tried to block the shot, but Hitzeder Palomar slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 39th minute. Leonardo Romani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Andrade in the 44th minute of play. After a rather tough play, GD JULIO DINIS's Patrício Bernardes got a free kick in the 46th minute. Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Antero Vadillos got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geraldo Lopes to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes GD JULIO DINIS got a freekick which was hit by Maurício Fonseca. Viriato Horta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pello Cameno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Deportivo O IRIXO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hitzeder Palomar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 60 minutes into the match, GD JULIO DINIS's goal looked a bit too open when Antero Vadillos came free, but Viriato Horta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Viriato Horta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hitzeder Palomar in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute Antero Vadillos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viriato Horta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antero Vadillos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geraldo Lopes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Viriato Horta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iosu Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pello Cameno in the 83rd minute of play forced GD JULIO DINIS's goalkeeper Viriato Horta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viriato Horta came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Pello Cameno. But to his dismay, Pello Cameno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Leonardo Romani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geraldo Lopes in the 90th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Pello Cameno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viriato Horta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
