Hermengildo Berenguer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Nils Van De Wiele made a huge save. Nils Van De Wiele stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hermengildo Berenguer's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. 40 minutes into the match, VC zoetwater's goalkeeper Nils Van De Wiele had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pablo Koldobika. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jos Armentier made a kick off. In the 51st minute Emiliano Weather shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Van De Wiele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marc Van Linthaut charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marc Van Linthaut the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to VC zoetwater getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Marc Van Linthaut hit a great ball. After 59 played minutes TALLERES DE CBA got a freekick which was hit by Hermengildo Berenguer. After 79 played minutes VC zoetwater got a freekick which was hit by Kevin De Mesemaekre. 88 minutes into the match, VC zoetwater's Fred Van Hoeyveld sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Delmiro Ayala narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nils Van De Wiele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Weather, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
