Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Valentin Rosendal made the kick off which started today's match. After 6 played minutes Valla Fc got a freekick which was hit by John Ambjörnsson. 8 minutes into the match, Valla Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Elemér Pálffy came free, but Ulf Jakobsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulf Jakobsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Csaba Bács in the 12th minute of play. Valla Fc's Ulf Jakobsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Botond Bodor in the 17th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Sven-Erik Drake hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulf Jakobsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Attila Váradi in the 23rd minute of the match. The supporters of Valla Fc booed when Várdomb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Attila Váradi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven-Erik Drakes short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Róbert Markos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 29th minute Attila Váradi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulf Jakobsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lóránd Angyal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulf Jakobsson having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Valla Fc's Karl-Åke Liljeström got a free kick in the 44th minute. Sándor Szőlősi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ulf Jakobsson. Valla Fc's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The supporters of Valla Fc booed when Várdomb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miklós Gulyás didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Sven-Erik Drake had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice moves Elemér Pálffy could shoot a difficult shot in the 58th minute, which Ulf Jakobsson however easily saved by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Valentin Rosendal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valla Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Rosendal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Róbert Markos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Valla Fc's Ulf Jakobsson got control of the ball when Elemér Pálffy tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Valla Fc's Leif Lund got a free kick in the 64th minute. If Elemér Pálffy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of Várdomb:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Valla Fc:s goal. Sven-Erik Drake struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Róbert Markos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valla Fc. After having played for 78 minutes, Botond Bodor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Várdomb's supporters crossed their fingers, but Botond Bodor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Róbert Markos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Rosendal, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After 83 played minutes Valla Fc got a freekick which was hit by John Ambjörnsson. In the 83rd minute of the match Kristóf Nagy shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ulf Jakobsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Attila Váradi in the 87th minute of play forced Valla Fc's goalkeeper Ulf Jakobsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Botond Bodor in the 88th minute of play forced Valla Fc's goalkeeper Ulf Jakobsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
