Spectators: 7454 (Terracing: 5591, Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fabio Rapa kicked off to start the match. Konstanty Puch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Rapa in the 3rd minute of the match. Fabio Rapa took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Konstanty Puch. Konstanty Puch dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some careless play in the Zgierskie Zlewy defense, Fabio Rapa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Konstanty Puch. The Zgierskie Zlewy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Konstanty Puch should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arthur Teuma in the 13th minute of play forced Zgierskie Zlewy's goalkeeper Konstanty Puch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wasyl Penkalski's late challenge caught a Meerkats FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wasyl Penkalski helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Zgierskie Zlewy's Wasyl Penkalski got a free kick in the 14th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Zgierskie Zlewy's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Rapa came free, but Konstanty Puch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Konstanty Puch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antoine Miggiani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the game, Wincenty Poniewaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zgierskie Zlewy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Meerkats FC the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zachary Wincek in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck William Troisi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Konstanty Puch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Rapa in the 26th minute of the match. Tim Monreal's late challenge caught a Zgierskie Zlewy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tim Monreal helped the player get up and apologised. After 27 played minutes Meerkats FC got a freekick which was hit by Tim Monreal. Wasyl Penkalski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wasyl Penkalskis short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got William Troisi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 34 minutes into the match, Zgierskie Zlewy's Zachary Wincek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that William Troisi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Konstanty Puch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Rapa in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Zgierskie Zlewy's goal looked a bit too open when Antoine Miggiani came free, but Konstanty Puch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zachary Wincek was the one to do the kick off. Konstanty Puch was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fabio Rapa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 54 minute of play. Eugeniusz Komanski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Troisi having to interfere. When Antoni Iwaszko fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zgierskie Zlewy's protests and gave Antoni Iwaszko a yellow card for diving instead. After 65 played minutes Zgierskie Zlewy got a freekick which was hit by Antoni Iwaszko. Antoine Miggiani kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 68thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Zgierskie Zlewy's keeper Konstanty Puch was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Zgierskie Zlewy's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Arthur Teuma scored to the left of an out of position Konstanty Puch, making the score, 0-4. Timothy De Battista hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. When Antoni Iwaszko was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 78 minutes had been played. After 79 played minutes Zgierskie Zlewy got a freekick which was hit by Antoni Iwaszko. Stephen Bonnici took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Konstanty Puch. Zgierskie Zlewy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Meerkats FC's Fabio Rapa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Konstanty Puch. That made the score 0-5 after 81 minutes of play. In the 86th minute, Fabio Rapa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Konstanty Puch. The goal made the score 0-6. Meerkats FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
