Spectators: 7523 (Terracing: 5643, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Reinaldo Saldanha took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armin Piccone in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sandro Tasso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Orlando Velloso fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Militros F.C.'s protests and gave Orlando Velloso a yellow card for diving instead. Orlando Velloso kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Igor Meirelles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Militros F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Meirelles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fausto Pellecchia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alberigo Pomponio during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alberigo Pomponio kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Reinaldo Saldanha recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fausto Pellecchia. Reinaldo Saldanha showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Reinaldo Saldanha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Pellecchia having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Diguinho da Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Militros F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Diguinho da Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fausto Pellecchia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinaldo Saldanha in the 24th minute of play forced Bar Marconi United's goalkeeper Fausto Pellecchia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fausto Pellecchia had great luck who in the 26thth minute grab hold of the ball when Reinaldo Saldanha from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Militros F.C. were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Bar Marconi United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nilton Negri took the corner. The corner ended in Nilton Negri almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bar Marconi United's Fausto Pellecchia did a great save. In the 38th minute, Enzo Cera made a precise shot to the right of Sandro Tasso. Militros F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. If Armin Piccone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in Bar Marconi United's zone, Reinaldo Saldanha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fausto Pellecchia came out of the goal and Reinaldo Saldanha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Samuca Recife fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Militros F.C.'s protests and gave Samuca Recife a yellow card for diving instead. 58 minutes into the match, Enzo Cera dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sandro Tasso, 2-2. Armin Piccone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Sandro Tasso made a huge save. Joaquim da Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Alex Castagna's late challenge caught a Militros F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Castagna helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st match minute, Bar Marconi United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Castagna to maneuver through the defense. Igor Meirelles kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After 75 played minutes Militros F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Arí Medeiros. 77 minutes into the match, Militros F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Cera came free, but Sandro Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Alberigo Pomponio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Enzo Cera took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Sandro Tasso to make any attempt to save it. 95 minutes into the match, Militros F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Cera came free, but Sandro Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
