Spectators: 7534 (Terracing: 5652, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Artemio Banegas started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, Carlos Fernando Mesquita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Cercadinho's zone, Jonas Aritza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafa Borges came out of the goal and Jonas Aritza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When João Carlos Rosa fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cercadinho's protests and gave João Carlos Rosa a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Cercadinho's João Carlos Rosa got a free kick in the 11th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artemio Banegas in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafa Borges prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonas Aritza made a great header on Gallardo y Biscay FC's corner, it was just that Cercadinho's Rafa Borges managed to reach the ball for a save. After 15 played minutes Gallardo y Biscay FC got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Bilintx. Cercadinho's João Carlos Rosa shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 16th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Enzo Regis but with some difficulty. A collision led to Gallardo y Biscay FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Isidoro Neto hit a great ball. After 18 played minutes Gallardo y Biscay FC got a freekick which was hit by Artemio Banegas. Gallardo y Biscay FC's Enzo Regis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Barral in the 23rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eugênio Rodrigues during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 26 played minutes Cercadinho got a freekick which was hit by Eugênio Rodrigues. After 29 minutes of play, Gallardo y Biscay FC's Artemio Banegas made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rafa Borges was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eurico de Lara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enzo Regis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play.

When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Jairo Barral sped through Gallardo y Biscay FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Enzo Regis. Carlos Fernando Mesquita kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Rafa Borges was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Isidoro Neto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Isidoro Neto really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Cercadinho's Rafa Borges proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Cercadinho from getting a goal against them. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cercadinho's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jonas Aritza was slow to take the kick. During this time Gallardo y Biscay FC's players had a chance to rest. When Gallardo y Biscay FC's Jonas Aritza in 68 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Rafa Borges guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nildo Toledo in the 70th minute of play forced Gallardo y Biscay FC's goalkeeper Enzo Regis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Jairo Barral made a precise shot to the right of Enzo Regis. Gallardo y Biscay FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Enzo Regis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jairo Barral went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Rafa Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Banegas in the 93rd minute of play. Gallardo y Biscay FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
