A collision led to Goianésia E.C getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Alessandro Falcão hit a great ball. Zé Antunes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hauk Horne in the 18th minute. With a little luck, Cheeky Nuts United's Gabriel Mogstad got control of the ball when Jean Corrêa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jean Corrêa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Mogstad having to interfere. Cheeky Nuts United's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
