With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nildo Toledo in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zé Antunes saved Goianésia E.C from getting behind. In the 11th minute Nildo Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nildo Toledo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zé Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nildo Toledo in the 19th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Cercadinho's goal looked a bit too open when Mário Aparecido came free, but Rafa Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Nildo Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alessandro Falcão kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. When Nildo Toledo came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Cercadinho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nildo Toledo couldn't finish the play. Zé Antunes made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Eurico de Lara sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Nildo Toledo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zé Antunes was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Goianésia E.C's Zé Antunes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Goianésia E.C from getting a goal against them. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

53 minutes into the game, Igor Lacerda recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rafa Borges. Igor Lacerda showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Eurico de Lara struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Zé Antunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cercadinho. After 67 minutes, Nildo Toledo made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Goianésia E.C's Zé Antunes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Eurico de Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafa Borges didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Goianésia E.C's Igor Lacerda shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute.
