Spectators: 7491 (Terracing: 5619, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Igor Lacerda got the match started through his kick off. Igor Lacerda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Igor Lacerda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Dimas Camargo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Fabrício Gonçalves notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Goianésia E.C's Zé Antunes. Zé Antunes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Igor Lacerda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Delfim Brás kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 42nd match minute, Goianésia E.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mário Aparecido to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute, Mariano Faria made a precise shot to the right of Zé Antunes. Goianésia E.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The Goianésia E.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. MEXACOMX were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabrício Gonçalves to make the kick off. Fabrício Gonçalves in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zé Antunes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, MEXACOMX's Alfredo Osório got a free kick in the 65th minute. A collision led to Goianésia E.C getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Mário Aparecido hit a great ball. Zé Antunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Fabrício Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Zé Antunes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 82 minutes into the match, Fabrício Gonçalves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zé Antunes. Goianésia E.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabrício Gonçalves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Fabrício Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot. MEXACOMX's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabrício Gonçalves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Antunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When MEXACOMX's Fabrício Gonçalves in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
