The supporters of Goianésia E.C booed when BMB IMOVEIS SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romário Cearense didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the game, BMB IMOVEIS SC's Anselmo Mineiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Goianésia E.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BMB IMOVEIS SC the free kick. Mário Aparecido hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Evandro Arósio charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a rather tough play, BMB IMOVEIS SC's Evandro Arósio got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 45th match minute, BMB IMOVEIS SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yuri Cunha to maneuver through the defense. The Goianésia E.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BMB IMOVEIS SC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anselmo Mineiro made a kick off. Igor Lacerda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Claudinho Valladares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. BMB IMOVEIS SC's Claudinho Valladares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Lacerda in the 56th minute of play. In the 63rd minute Igor Lacerda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Valladares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yuri Cunha during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. But to his dismay, Igor Lacerda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Goianésia E.C had won after a very even match.
