Santiago Calvino started the match with the kick off. With his leg Reynaldo Argi managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Cercadinho's Zézinho Monteiro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nildo Toledo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Reynaldo Argi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Reynaldo Argi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nildo Toledo in the 22nd minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Cercadinho's corner Enio Freire fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Reynaldo Argi quite easily take care of the ball. In the 27th minute Teodoro Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Argi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nildo Toledos short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Reynaldo Argi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Reynaldo Argi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nildo Toledo in the 40th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Reconquistense FC's goalkeeper Reynaldo Argi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eurico de Lara. With an all-out effort, Cercadinho's Reynaldo Argi threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nildo Toledo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 46th minute, Santiago Calvino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Nildo Toledo scored 2-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reynaldo Argi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nildo Toledo hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nildo Toledo in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reynaldo Argi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Reconquistense FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Justino Naelio hit a great ball. After 67 played minutes, Cercadinho's Enio Freire shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Reynaldo Argi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cercadinho reached it. Reynaldo Argi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nildo Toledo in the 75th minute of play. Benigno Furtado charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benigno Furtado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th match minute, Reconquistense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benigno Furtado to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eurico de Lara in the 81st minute of play forced Reconquistense FC's goalkeeper Reynaldo Argi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Teodoro Fontes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Reconquistense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nildo Toledo came free, but Reynaldo Argi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute Benigno Furtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafa Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Reconquistense FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cercadinho.
