The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kjartan Nyhagen during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cheeky Nuts United getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Kjartan Nyhagen hit a great ball. The supporters of Cheeky Nuts United booed when Minion Mim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenneth Blanchaert didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute of the match, Kristian Amdal got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fabrice De Leger was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 9 minutes, Kristian Amdal made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Minion Mim's Fabrice De Leger tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Minion Mim's Fabrice De Leger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristian Amdal in the 14th minute of play. The supporters of Minion Mim booed when Cheeky Nuts United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Finn-Christian Hjelvik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Minion Mim's Willem-Alexander Snieders got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Paul-Louis Villyn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristian Amdal in the 23rd minute of play forced Minion Mim's goalkeeper Fabrice De Leger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Minion Mim's goalkeeper Fabrice De Leger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sturle Landsverk. Kristian Amdal took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabrice De Leger. Fabrice De Leger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, Minion Mim's Matijs De Weerdt got a free kick in the 29th minute. With a little luck, Minion Mim's Fabrice De Leger got control of the ball when Torkel Svendsen tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kristian Amdal was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute, Paul-Louis Villyn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paul-Louis Villyn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Gabriel Mogstad made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Paul-Louis Villyn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gabriel Mogstad was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Cheeky Nuts United's David Korsvold got a free kick in the 66th minute. When Willem-Alexander Snieders fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Minion Mim's protests and gave Willem-Alexander Snieders a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th minute, David Korsvold ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabrice De Leger was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. 78 minutes into the match, Cheeky Nuts United's goalkeeper Gabriel Mogstad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paul-Louis Villyn. Paul-Louis Villyn who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Gabriel Mogstad when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cheeky Nuts United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kristian Amdal in the 85th minute. Gabriel Mogstad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matijs De Weerdt in the 88th minute of play. Kristian Amdal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Minion Mim booed when Cheeky Nuts United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Korsvold didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Cheeky Nuts United's Gabriel Mogstad got control of the ball when Kenneth Blanchaert tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, Cheeky Nuts United could leave the field as winners, despite Minion Mim having more of the ball for most of the match.
