Elias Brito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 6th match minute, Minion Mim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenneth Blanchaert to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Bezerra in the 15th minute of play forced Minion Mim's goalkeeper Fabrice De Leger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, David Bezerra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabrice De Leger. Minion Mim's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Bezerra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Cauan Neiva kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. A collision led to Goianésia E.C getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Belmiro Lopez hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the game, Paul-Louis Villyn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Zé Antunes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jean Corrêa kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After 39 played minutes Goianésia E.C got a freekick which was hit by David Bezerra. Paul-Louis Villyn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Antunes having to interfere. In the 43rdth minute of the game Paul-Louis Villyn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Goianésia E.C's Zé Antunes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elias Brito charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elias Brito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Elias Brito hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Minion Mim's Christian Peeters got a free kick in the 45th minute.

The wind increased when Paul-Louis Villyn made the kick off in the second half. Paul-Louis Villyn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Zé Antunes made a huge save. With a little luck, Goianésia E.C's Zé Antunes got control of the ball when Paul-Louis Villyn tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Jean Corrêa fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Goianésia E.C's protests and gave Jean Corrêa a yellow card for diving instead. 60 minutes into the game, Belmiro Lopez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Goianésia E.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Minion Mim the free kick. Fabrice De Leger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Bezerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matijs De Weerdt's late challenge caught a Goianésia E.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matijs De Weerdt helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Goianésia E.C booed when Minion Mim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matijs De Weerdt didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jean Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Bezerra hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After 81 played minutes Minion Mim got a freekick which was hit by Rein Raeymakers. 81 minutes into the match, Goianésia E.C's Elias Brito broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paul-Louis Villyn in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zé Antunes saved Goianésia E.C from getting behind. For all the effort they put into the match, the Minion Mim players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Goianésia E.C.
