The audience thought a goal was coming when Ali Atıf Canal got free with Heriberto Walton in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 9 minutes into the match, Vancouver Reds's goalkeeper Heriberto Walton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Seyfi Nadir. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melih Cevdet Ayçetin in the 12th minute of play forced Vancouver Reds's goalkeeper Heriberto Walton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Vancouver Reds booed when BATMAN SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melih Cevdet Ayçetin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quincy Minor hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Heriberto Walton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Veysel Tecelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Quincy Minor during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 31st minute, Seyfi Nadir ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Heriberto Walton was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Veysel Tecelli in the 46th minute of play forced Vancouver Reds's goalkeeper Heriberto Walton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Heriberto Walton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Seyfi Nadir went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Quincy Minor kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After 57 played minutes Vancouver Reds got a freekick which was hit by Marshall Valenzuela. Vancouver Reds's Heriberto Walton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Veysel Tecelli in the 61st minute of play. In the 64th minute, Seyfi Nadir ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Heriberto Walton was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 70 minutes into the game, when Geoffrey Roach put in a rough tackle. The referee gave BATMAN SK a penalty, 71 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Veysel Tecelli, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Vancouver Reds's Heriberto Walton. 6-0. 75 minutes into the match, Vancouver Reds's goal looked a bit too open when Melih Cevdet Ayçetin came free, but Heriberto Walton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Heriberto Walton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Veysel Tecelli went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Seyfi Nadir in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Heriberto Walton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Heriberto Walton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Seyfi Nadir, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 93rd minute Veysel Tecelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heriberto Walton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quincy Minor kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. BATMAN SK fully deserved thier win.
