In the 7th minute Severiano Iratzeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Sana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the game, Indalecio Larramendi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sabaneta FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quebracho FC the free kick. 12 minutes into the match, Sabaneta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Iratzeder came free, but Zacarias Sana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Salomon Busta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Quebracho FC's Anselmo Canor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Quebracho FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ostots Muriedas in the 23rd minute of play forced Quebracho FC's goalkeeper Anselmo Canor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 minutes, Ostots Muriedas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sabaneta FC and the Quebracho FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th minute, Severiano Iratzeder left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Quebracho FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 33 minutes into the match, Sabaneta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filiberto Ponc came free, but Zacarias Sana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sabaneta FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Honorato Lando was slow to take the kick. During this time Quebracho FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Honorato Lando almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sabaneta FC's Zacarias Sana did a great save. Anselmo Canor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salomon Busta in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Indalecio Larramendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tadeo Lartaun took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zacarias Sana. Sabaneta FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

Severiano Iratzeder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 60 played minutes Sabaneta FC got a freekick which was hit by Edur Carne. Severiano Iratzeders short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Zacarias Sana to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Zacarias Sana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Honorato Lando in the 66th minute. Filiberto Ponc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Salomon Busta during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 84th minute, Jonatan Mocellar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anselmo Canor was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. With 91 minutes on the clock, Conrado Ubelteso commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card.
