Spectators: 7491 (Terracing: 5619, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) Ivón Barroso started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Tirant lo Blanch's Domeka Talavera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Paulo Paraíba in the 4th minute of play. A collision led to Tirant lo Blanch getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Teodoro Ramiréz hit a great ball. A collision led to Calesso FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. When Hermínio Vergílio got free in front of the goal in the 12th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Domeka Talavera was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erasmo Valle in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Domeka Talavera saved Tirant lo Blanch from getting behind. In the 19th minute, Barto Arratia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 20 minutes, Xiao Garay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tirant lo Blanch and the Calesso FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Domeka Talavera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Paulo Paraíba in the 24th minute of play. Ivón Barroso struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Walmyr Bezerra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tirant lo Blanch. Erasmo Valle struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Domeka Talavera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calesso FC. When Pedro Paulo Paraíba came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Calesso FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Paulo Paraíba couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes into the game, Teodoro Ramiréz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tirant lo Blanch's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Calesso FC the free kick. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tirant lo Blanch's goalkeeper Domeka Talavera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Domeka Talavera made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Hermínio Vergílio sent off a good shot on target.

The wind increased when Pedro Paulo Paraíba made the kick off in the second half. Erasmo Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Domeka Talavera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erasmo Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Tirant lo Blanch's Pelayo Valdivia got a free kick in the 76th minute. Erasmo Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domeka Talavera having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Paulo Paraíba in the 83rd minute of play forced Tirant lo Blanch's goalkeeper Domeka Talavera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Calesso FC's Hermínio Vergílio got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Calesso FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
