Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jarrett Poirier to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Sabaneta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Quincy Minor came free, but Zacarias Sana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 3-1 became the score in the 54th minute when Lesardo Gaztañondo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, Sabaneta FC's goalkeeper Zacarias Sana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jarrett Poirier. The player immediately received a yellow card. 80 minutes into the match, Salomon Busta notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Vancouver Reds's Heriberto Walton. Heriberto Walton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 84 minutes of play, Sabaneta FC's Lesardo Gaztañondo made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Heriberto Walton was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Ostots Muriedas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sabaneta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ostots Muriedas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Heriberto Walton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Indalecio Larramendi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Heriberto Walton having to make a save. 93 minutes into the match, Vancouver Reds's goal looked a bit too open when Salomon Busta came free, but Heriberto Walton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sabaneta FC fully deserved thier win.
