If Arnulfo Osoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonzalo Oliverios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, Calesso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Osoitz came free, but Walmyr Bezerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Gonzalo Oliverios ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walmyr Bezerra was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 25 played minutes FMArgentina got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Boniel. 28 minutes into the match, Gonzalo Oliverios had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Walmyr Bezerra. Calesso FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gonzalo Oliverios was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 34th minute Gonzalo Oliverios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walmyr Bezerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Calesso FC defense, Gonzalo Oliverios kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Walmyr Bezerra. The Calesso FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Walmyr Bezerra should have stopped the shot. In the 38th match minute, FMArgentina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesar Boniel to maneuver through the defense. When Gaudencio Inautzi fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FMArgentina's protests and gave Gaudencio Inautzi a yellow card for diving instead. After the first half FMArgentina were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Paulo Paraíba to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes FMArgentina got a freekick which was hit by Paulino Oroitz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Oliverios in the 55th minute of play forced Calesso FC's goalkeeper Walmyr Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the game, Gonzalo Oliverios was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FMArgentina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Calesso FC the free kick. Gonzalo Oliverios hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Gonzalo Oliverios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes in the game, Paulino Oroitz fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Walmyr Bezerra having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Calesso FC's Hernani Rossi got a free kick in the 72nd minute. FMArgentina's Romulo Ursino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Paulo Paraíba in the 75th minute of play. Walmyr Bezerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Oliverios, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After a rather tough play, Calesso FC's Nildo Berger got a free kick in the 79th minute. Walmyr Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Oliverios in the 84th minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Erasmo Valle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Romulo Ursino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FMArgentina's Paulo Hats got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gonzalo Oliverios's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Walmyr Bezerra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. FMArgentina's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
