After a defensive mix-up in Calesso FC's zone, Slawomir Trojanowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walmyr Bezerra came out of the goal and Slawomir Trojanowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the game, Hermínio Vergílio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Calesso FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Expedition Lubin the free kick. 13 minutes into the game, Walery Cempa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Walmyr Bezerra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Walmyr Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wawrzyniec Betonowy in the 19th minute of play. Boruc Zdrojowy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Valle in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 57th minute Pedro Paulo Paraíba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boruc Zdrojowy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Pedro Paulo Paraíba cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Boruc Zdrojowy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Filip Banan came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Expedition Lubin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filip Banan couldn't finish the play. Wawrzyniec Betonowy hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Erasmo Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Walmyr Bezerra was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wawrzyniec Betonowy showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 79 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Paulo Paraíba during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
