Heriberto Walton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grzegorz Raschke in the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute Quincy Minor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boruc Zdrojowy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stanislaw Rosiewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Heriberto Walton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Heriberto Walton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grzegorz Raschke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vancouver Reds's Quincy Minor got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute, Szczepan Jaszcz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jarrett Poirier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boruc Zdrojowy having to interfere. Quincy Minor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Boruc Zdrojowy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boruc Zdrojowy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quincy Minor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Raschke in the 36th minute of play forced Vancouver Reds's goalkeeper Heriberto Walton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boruc Zdrojowy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarrett Poirier, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Grzegorz Raschke stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 61stth minute of the game Wawrzyniec Betonowy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vancouver Reds's Heriberto Walton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanh Dodd charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thanh Dodd the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 62 played minutes Vancouver Reds got a freekick which was hit by Thanh Dodd. In the 67th match minute, Expedition Lubin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stanislaw Rosiewicz to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Raschke in the 69th minute of play forced Vancouver Reds's goalkeeper Heriberto Walton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Expedition Lubin fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vancouver Reds had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
