Ivón Barroso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Recep Bakırhan having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Ivón Barroso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tirant lo Blanch's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivón Barroso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melih Cevdet Ayçetin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Domeka Talavera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivón Barroso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 19 minutes, Mirkelam Erduran mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BATMAN SK and the Tirant lo Blanch players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th minute of the match Mergildo Pascua shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Recep Bakırhan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 24th minute Veysel Tecelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domeka Talavera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Veysel Tecelli got free with Domeka Talavera in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee showed Ivón Barroso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Tirant lo Blanch's Ivón Barroso got a free kick in the 67th minute. Domeka Talavera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melih Cevdet Ayçetin in the 69th minute of the match.
