Spectators: 7490 (Terracing: 5618, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lázaro Michael made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Branco FC's goalkeeper Celedonio Nataniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teodoro Gomes. After 3 played minutes Branco FC got a freekick which was hit by Dante Nayely. After 5 played minutes Alvinegro Carioca got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Gomes. Samuel Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Lehen in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Herrera in the 8th minute of play forced Alvinegro Carioca's goalkeeper Samuel Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raimundo Herrera took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samuel Pontes. Samuel Pontes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Samuel Pontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Michael, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Samuel Pontes came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Branco FC's Cecilio Silbestre. But to his dismay, Cecilio Silbestre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 22nd minute Lázaro Michael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ian Bueno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Celedonio Nataniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alvinegro Carioca's Samuel Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Herrera in the 28th minute of play. Samuel Pontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Herrera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Branco FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Gregorio Valiente hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Branco FC's goalkeeper Celedonio Nataniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caio Cabral. Samuel Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Michael in the 34th minute of play. The supporters of Branco FC booed when Alvinegro Carioca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chicão Tepedino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kauan Santana charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kauan Santana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Alvinegro Carioca's Kauan Santana got a free kick in the 41st minute. Samuel Pontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Herrera, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Samuel Pontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Michael in the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Branco FC's Lázaro Michael got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 55th minute Raimundo Herrera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dante Nayely fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Branco FC's protests and gave Dante Nayely a yellow card for diving instead. 1-2 became the score in the 61st minute when Chicão Tepedino elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 63 minutes, Tadeu Britto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alvinegro Carioca and the Branco FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adhemar Terra hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Alvinegro Carioca's Samuel Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Herrera in the 68th minute of play. Arnaldo Lehen came free with the goalkeeper in the 70th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Samuel Pontes could save by the left post. Arnaldo Lehen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Samuel Pontes made a huge save. Alvinegro Carioca's Samuel Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Herrera in the 76th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Alvinegro Carioca's Adhemar Terra got a free kick in the 77th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Samuel Pontes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Branco FC's Raimundo Herrera slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Samuel Pontes. That made the score 1-3 after 82 minutes of play. Samuel Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Lehen in the 87th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Caio Cabral left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alvinegro Carioca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Branco FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
