Spectators: 7451 (Terracing: 5590, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) Daniel Winkel made the kick off and thus started the match. A collision led to Fire Devils getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Billy Waller hit a great ball. Daniel Winkel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vladimir Schnyder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Víctor Urioste in the 14th minute of play. After 21 minutes, Vela Garros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A. GUAYACO and the Fire Devils players grew even worse after the yellow card. Daniel Winkel in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hugo Mejia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 26 played minutes Fire Devils got a freekick which was hit by Billy Waller. Hugo Mejia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Winkel went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 32nd minute, Daniel Winkel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Remo Espa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, C.A. GUAYACO's Hugo Mejia got control of the ball when Dave Drescher tried to sneak it across the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Fire Devils's Janosch Bluom broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Vela Garros hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Víctor Urioste charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Víctor Urioste the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Víctor Urioste kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Hugo Mejia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Winkel in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Víctor Urioste was the one to do the kick off. 71 minutes into the match, C.A. GUAYACO's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Winkel came free, but Hugo Mejia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Mejia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Drescher, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After 87 minutes, Daniel Winkel made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. C.A. GUAYACO's Hugo Mejia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Fire Devils's Dave Drescher got a free kick in the 91st minute. If Janosch Bluom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C.A. GUAYACO's Hugo Mejia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Drescher in the 95th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fire Devils fully deserved thier win.
