Alvinegro Carioca's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Adhemar Terra in the 54th minute. Chants of Alvinegro Carioca echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as C.A. GUAYACO had held the ball for most of the match.
