Vítor Pádua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zane Jordoan in the 4th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudemiro Coelho during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Claudemiro Coelho hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Carl Atkins charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carl Atkins the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to The Tigers getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Carl Atkins hit a great ball. Roger Barton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Vítor Pádua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudemiro Coelho might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Franz Dunlop. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claudemiro Coelho ran back to his position shaking his head. Franz Dunlop came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Altamora FC's Claudemiro Coelho. But to his dismay, Claudemiro Coelho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Altamora FC's Dércio Távora got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 25th minute, Altamora FC's Claudemiro Coelho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 28 minutes into the match, Carl Atkins had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vítor Pádua. Altamora FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carl Atkins was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in The Tigers's zone, António Colaço stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franz Dunlop came out of the goal and António Colaço tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 40 minutes of play, The Tigers's Frazer Heath made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vítor Pádua was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carl Atkins scored 2-3 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vítor Pádua, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carl Atkins made a kick off. Vítor Pádua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Atkins in the 53rd minute of play. Zane Jordoan charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The crowd rose to their feet as The Tigers's Carl Atkins slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vítor Pádua. That made the score 2-4 after 64 minutes of play. Ian Farrell kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frazer Heath got free with Vítor Pádua in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Altamora FC's Claudemiro Coelho got a free kick in the 72nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carl Atkins in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vítor Pádua saved Altamora FC from getting behind. The supporters of Altamora FC booed when The Tigers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zane Jordoan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Austin Sedgemore hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute, Carl Atkins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Norberto Vilanova scored 3-4 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Franz Dunlop, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Altamora FC booed when The Tigers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trey Ramsay didn't get a good kick on the ball. The The Tigers supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing The Tigers would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
