Celedonio Nataniel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 27th minute of the match Marcelo-Luis Master sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Celedonio Nataniel skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the Branco FC defense, Cedric Coulter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celedonio Nataniel. The Branco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celedonio Nataniel should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Branco FC booed when Atletico Patoruzu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timothy Napier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Trey Randle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lázaro Michael in the 46th minute. After the first half Atletico Patoruzu were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Celedonio Nataniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivan Lucero in the 55th minute. Lázaro Michael struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Trey Randle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Branco FC. Atletico Patoruzu's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
