Spectators: 7572 (Terracing: 5680, Seating: 1741, VIP seats: 151) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lázaro Michael took the kick off in the first half of the match. António Colaço recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 12 minutes, Pablo Norino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Branco FC and the Altamora FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Branco FC's Pablo Norino got a free kick in the 12th minute. Celedonio Nataniel acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 13th minute, took the ball on the long shot from António Raminhos. Lázaro Michael blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vítor Pádua having to make a save. Vítor Pádua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Michael in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Saul Milian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maurício Quinaz got free with Celedonio Nataniel in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vicente Weterio charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vicente Weterio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vicente Weterio hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Altamora FC's António Colaço dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. António Colaço sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

If Lino Gonzalez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vicente Weterio kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After 58 played minutes, Altamora FC's Norberto Vilanova shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Celedonio Nataniel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Altamora FC reached it. When Norberto Vilanova came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Altamora FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norberto Vilanova couldn't finish the play. After 68 played minutes Altamora FC got a freekick which was hit by Maurício Quinaz. Vítor Pádua made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Lázaro Michael sent off a good shot on target. Claudemiro Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Nataniel having to interfere. Celedonio Nataniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudemiro Coelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. António Colaço sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Branco FC booed when Altamora FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurício Quinaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celedonio Nataniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurício Quinaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the match, Lázaro Michael had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vítor Pádua. Altamora FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lázaro Michael was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3.
