After having played for 2 minutes, Lino Gonzalez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Branco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lino Gonzalez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vladimir Schnyder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Michael in the 6th minute of play. If Lino Gonzalez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Janosch Bluom during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fire Devils's Janosch Bluom got a free kick in the 17th minute. After 20 minutes of play, Branco FC's Lázaro Michael made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vladimir Schnyder was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 36th minute of the match Vicente Weterio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vladimir Schnyder showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 40 played minutes Fire Devils got a freekick which was hit by Dave Drescher. In the 44th minute Lázaro Michael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimir Schnyder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Fire Devils players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Branco FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lázaro Michael was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Fire Devils's zone, Lino Gonzalez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimir Schnyder came out of the goal and Lino Gonzalez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Celedonio Nataniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janosch Bluom in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Michael in the 64th minute of play forced Fire Devils's goalkeeper Vladimir Schnyder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Pablo Norino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Branco FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fire Devils the free kick. Pablo Norino kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. If Cecilio Silbestre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th match minute, Branco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Norino to maneuver through the defense. Lino Gonzalez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Vladimir Schnyder made a huge save. Dave Drescher scored 1-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celedonio Nataniel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Janosch Bluom in the 93rd minute of play forced Branco FC's goalkeeper Celedonio Nataniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th match minute, Branco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Lehen to maneuver through the defense. Fire Devils were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
