In the 16th minute, Billy Siggman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andrézinho Valladares was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel da Rocha got free with Erik Öberg in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 27 played minutes IFK Stockholm got a freekick which was hit by Egil Bagge. Renatinho Reis, 27 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Gabriel da Rocha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Erik Öberg made a huge save. With a little luck, IFK Stockholm's Erik Öberg got control of the ball when Gabriel da Rocha tried to sneak it across the goal line.
