The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, FC Luck's goal looked a bit too open when Franklin Polo came free, but Ciprian Barboni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alin Alexe got free with Valencia Cifuentes in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valencia Cifuentes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Mitescu in the 13th minute of play. Zosimo Guadiana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Valencia Cifuentes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Mitescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alin Alexe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Valencia Cifuentes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petru Vişoianu in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Daniel Mitescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Luck fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Daniel Mitescu took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valencia Cifuentes. Valencia Cifuentes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Valencia Cifuentes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Mitescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FC Luck booed when Taltum FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franklin Polo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 70 played minutes FC Luck got a freekick which was hit by Petru Vişoianu. Franklin Polo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ciprian Barboni came out and tried to block the shot, but Franklin Polo slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 73rd minute. In the 77th match minute, Taltum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimmy Broz to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th match minute, FC Luck was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petru Vişoianu to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xines Herriaga in the 86th minute of play forced FC Luck's goalkeeper Ciprian Barboni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Luck's Ciprian Barboni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xines Herriaga in the 87th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Taltum FC's Franklin Polo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
