An unexpectedly hard shot by Börje Ahlstedt in the 7th minute of play forced FC Luck's goalkeeper Ciprian Barboni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferdinand Mortu kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Ciprian Barboni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zebastian Julin in the 11th minute of play. The corner ended in Kjell-Arne Albäck almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Luck's Ciprian Barboni did a great save. Ciprian Barboni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Börje Ahlstedt in the 16th minute of the match. If Petru Vişoianu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 29 played minutes FC Luck got a freekick which was hit by Nistor Valerian. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gică Eremia during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 35th minute Zebastian Julin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciprian Barboni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciprian Barboni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Andersson in the 36th minute of the match. Gică Eremia was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 37 minutes into the match. In the 38th match minute, FC Luck was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gică Eremia to maneuver through the defense. Kjell-Arne Albäck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciprian Barboni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. A collision led to AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Michael Dahlqvist hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute Aurelian Bulgar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Sigman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Daniel Mitescu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Erik Sigman, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Börje Ahlstedt was the one to do the kick off. In the 67th match minute, AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjell-Arne Albäck to maneuver through the defense. After 68 played minutes, FC Luck's Moise Ilinca shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Erik Sigman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Luck reached it. Erik Sigman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moise Ilinca in the 69th minute of the match. After some careless play in the AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK defense, Daniel Mitescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erik Sigman. The AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erik Sigman should have stopped the shot. In the 77th minute Petru Vişoianu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Sigman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FC Luck getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Petru Vişoianu hit a great ball. Ciprian Barboni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kasper Hultman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute Börje Ahlstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciprian Barboni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Luck throughout the match.
