FC Luck's Ciprian Barboni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kubrat Shehtanov in the 5th minute of play. A collision led to FC Luck getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Nicu Nițoi hit a great ball. Ciprian Barboni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ancho Marichkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Eduard Budișteanu hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Eduard Budișteanu kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Kubrat Shehtanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciprian Barboni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Asparuh Tarashoev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alin Alexe in the 20th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kubrat Shehtanov got free with Ciprian Barboni in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Kubrat Shehtanov fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blue avalanche's protests and gave Kubrat Shehtanov a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 26 minutes, Alin Alexe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Luck's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alin Alexe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ancho Marichkov received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ciprian Barboni came out and tried to block the shot, but Ancho Marichkov slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 28th minute. Ancho Marichkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ciprian Barboni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Blue avalanche's goal looked a bit too open when Eduard Budișteanu came free, but Asparuh Tarashoev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Blue avalanche's Ciprian Barboni threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kubrat Shehtanov, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ancho Marichkov got free with Ciprian Barboni in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ancho Marichkov to strike the kick off in the second half. Kliment Penushliev scored 2-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ciprian Barboni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 55th play minute Alin Alexe came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Asparuh Tarashoev. 2-1. Alin Alexe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Asparuh Tarashoev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gică Eremia kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Asparuh Tarashoev was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eduard Budișteanu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 74 minute of play. In the 77th minute, Eduard Budișteanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valkan Túrpanov took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ciprian Barboni. FC Luck's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Valkan Túrpanov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blue avalanche's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Luck the free kick. After 85 played minutes Blue avalanche got a freekick which was hit by Valkan Túrpanov. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Luck's Eduard Budișteanu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Asparuh Tarashoev. That made the score 2-4 after 90 minutes of play. FC Luck's Ciprian Barboni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kliment Penushliev in the 96th minute of play. The Blue avalanche manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing FC Luck to win.
