The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rocio Camerin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Enrique Lemus came out and tried to block the shot, but Rocio Camerin slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 2nd minute. If Rocio Camerin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to VERDOLAGA CITY FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Xamo Andujar hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Franklin Polo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Taltum FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Henrique Bazan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paúl Bardeci in the 23rd minute of play. In the 28th minute, VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Loreto Astonzas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Enrique Lemus. Enrique Lemus yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. 35 minutes into the game, Chap Cobo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Taltum FC the free kick. In the 35th minute, Chap Cobo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, Xines Herriaga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henrique Bazan. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xines Herriaga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2.

Enrique Lemus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loreto Astonzas, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Paúl Bardeci hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Blai Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Blai Ramos came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the VERDOLAGA CITY FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blai Ramos couldn't finish the play. Blai Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Enrique Lemus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benat Trasloseros hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Blai Ramos's late challenge caught a Taltum FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Blai Ramos helped the player get up and apologised. After 75 played minutes VERDOLAGA CITY FC got a freekick which was hit by Blai Ramos. Xines Herriaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique Bazan having to interfere. Mellington Aniego was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 79 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, one of Taltum FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Taltum FC. In the 88th minute, Xines Herriaga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Taltum FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. In the 93rd minute, Blai Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Loreto Astonzas got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
