In the 20th minute, Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Anthon Soned ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Saritama Durana. Saritama Durana yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The supporters of Red Reign booed when Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils Vennersten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Scott Stopar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesus Gargollo in the 29th minute of play. Mattias Öberg kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Gottfrid Lindström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 39 played minutes Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Åke Melander. Pedro Coz missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 41 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Scott Stopar right hand side. Scott Stopar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Gargollo, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jesus Gargollo to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Gargollo in the 59th minute of play forced Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's goalkeeper Scott Stopar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Scott Stopar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Gargollo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute, Red Reign's Jesus Gargollo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Scott Stopar. Scott Stopar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Kevin Holmgren charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kevin Holmgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven-Åke Melander during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th minute of the match Pedro Coz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Scott Stopar skillfully saved the ball. Javier Barricats short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Scott Stopar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Scott Stopar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Coz in the 91st minute of play. After 91 played minutes Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Holmgren. Scott Stopar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Gargollo in the 94th minute of play. The Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Red Reign were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
