After some careless play in the Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK defense, Karl-Axel Gustavsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Scott Stopar. The Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Scott Stopar should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Michael Larsson got free with Arne Blomqvist in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Scott Stopar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingemar Larsson in the 14th minute of the match. Scott Stopar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingemar Larsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Scott Stopar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Axel Gustavsson in the 21st minute of play. Kevin Holmgren hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Tomas Eklund got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute, Mattias Öberg had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Sverker Fanström charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sverker Fanström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK made a substitution. Zebastian Rudkvist replaced Mattias Öberg. A collision led to MaLe FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Sverker Fanström hit a great ball. After 31 minutes, Nils Vennersten mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK and the MaLe FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Nils Vennersten hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, MaLe FC's Karl-Axel Gustavsson got a free kick in the 34th minute. If Nils Vennersten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arne Blomqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils Vennersten in the 38th minute of play. Gottfrid Lindström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arne Blomqvist came out and tried to block the shot, but Gottfrid Lindström slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 40th minute. Scott Stopar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Axel Gustavsson in the 46th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ingemar Larsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Arne Blomqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Vennersten in the 52nd minute of the match. Arne Blomqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nils Vennersten went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Arne Blomqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Michael Larsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th match minute, Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Oskar Mogren to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute Karl-Michael Larsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Blomqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 66 played minutes MaLe FC got a freekick which was hit by Sixten Zachrisson. Arne Blomqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthon Soned in the 69th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, MaLe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Vennersten came free, but Arne Blomqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Nils Vennersten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arne Blomqvist was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. After 74 played minutes Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK got a freekick which was hit by Niklas Skager. Arne Blomqvist came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Nils Vennersten. But to his dismay, Nils Vennersten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK were furious when Per-Oskar Mogren was red carded, 84 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 90 minutes, Kevin Holmgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK and the MaLe FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kevin Holmgren kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the game, Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Nils Vennersten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arne Blomqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. After 98 minutes of play, Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Gottfrid Lindström made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arne Blomqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
