Danny Avery really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 7 minutes into the match, Henley on Thames United's goal looked a bit too open when Jörn Vassenius came free, but Dane White reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ronny Dines fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Henley on Thames United's protests and gave Ronny Dines a yellow card for diving instead. After 8 played minutes Henley on Thames United got a freekick which was hit by Ronny Dines. Karl-Michael Larsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dane White having to interfere. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Scott Stopar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danny Avery in the 14th minute of play. Kelvin Quinn blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Scott Stopar having to make a save. In the 25th minute Anthon Soned shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dane White saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dylon Rundle's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Scott Stopar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jörn Vassenius hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Dane White came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Karl-Michael Larsson. But to his dismay, Karl-Michael Larsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 32nd minute Kelvin Quinn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Scott Stopar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's goal looked a bit too open when Seb Rain came free, but Scott Stopar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kelvin Quinn in the 42nd minute of play forced Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's goalkeeper Scott Stopar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Dylon Rundle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nils Vennersten made a kick off. Karl-Michael Larsson came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dane White could save by the left post. Nils Vennersten kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. If Kelvin Quinn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dane White took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils Vennersten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute Danny Avery shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Scott Stopar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Scott Stopar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dylon Rundle in the 76th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's goal looked a bit too open when Danny Avery came free, but Scott Stopar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Ronny Dines hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gavin Chiverton hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. A collision led to Henley on Thames United getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Ronny Dines hit a great ball. If Nils Vennersten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Henley on Thames United were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK for a fine match.
