Dylon Rundle took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arne Blomqvist. Henley on Thames United were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after MaLe FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tod Summers took the corner. The corner led Henley on Thames United's Tod Summers to fire away a dangerous shot which Arne Blomqvist despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Henley on Thames United booed when MaLe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arne Blomqvist was a little too slow when Kelvin Quinn got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 4-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kelvin Quinn was the one to do the kick off. MaLe FC's Arne Blomqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dylon Rundle in the 53rd minute of play. In the 61st minute of the game Tod Summers made a throw-in which Dylon Rundle played forward.
