Spectators: 7469 (Terracing: 5603, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Xalvador Teran started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sixten Zachrisson kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. The throw-in from Nicasio Hodge in the 8th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by MaLe FC's Zebastian Sörman. Jan-Olof Duset received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Gerard Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15thth minute of the game Jan-Olof Duset who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Gerard Costa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of FC Anderlecht Huachipato booed when MaLe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bo-Erik Jonsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner ended in Yoel Quilempan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MaLe FC's Arne Blomqvist did a great save. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Xalvador Teran took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Arne Blomqvist to make any attempt to save it. In the 22nd match minute, MaLe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zebastian Sörman to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, MaLe FC's Arne Blomqvist got control of the ball when Xalvador Teran tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 24th match minute, MaLe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Örjan Stenqvist to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, MaLe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yoel Quilempan came free, but Arne Blomqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute Xalvador Teran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Blomqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC Anderlecht Huachipato's zone, Jan-Olof Duset stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerard Costa came out of the goal and Jan-Olof Duset tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Olof Duset in the 42nd minute of play forced FC Anderlecht Huachipato's goalkeeper Gerard Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Gafo during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Anderlecht Huachipato fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! In the 45th minute there was a penalty for MaLe FC. Sixten Zachrisson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gerard Costa. 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ingemar Larsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes MaLe FC got a freekick which was hit by Sixten Zachrisson. If Jan-Olof Duset had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicasio Hodge charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicasio Hodge the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of MaLe FC booed when FC Anderlecht Huachipato was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicasio Hodge didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 67 minutes, Sixten Zachrisson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MaLe FC and the FC Anderlecht Huachipato players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th minute, Sixten Zachrisson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xalvador Teran in the 71st minute of play forced MaLe FC's goalkeeper Arne Blomqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arne Blomqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yoel Quilempan in the 72nd minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Orlín De la Cruz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Anderlecht Huachipato's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MaLe FC the free kick. In the 73rd minute, Orlín De la Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan-Olof Duset struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Gerard Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MaLe FC. When Jan-Olof Duset came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the MaLe FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Olof Duset couldn't finish the play. Jan-Olof Duset sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ingemar Larsson got free with Gerard Costa in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arne Blomqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yoel Quilempan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in FC Anderlecht Huachipato's zone, Jan-Olof Duset stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerard Costa came out of the goal and Jan-Olof Duset tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
