Through a series of nice moves, Henley on Thames United's Tod Summers on his own came free in the 6th minute of the match and shot 1-0 behind a disappointed Isac Spirea. A collision led to Henley on Thames United getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Ronny Dines hit a great ball. In the 15th minute of the match, Dylon Rundle got a very nice opportunity to score, but Isac Spirea was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Henley on Thames United! In the 19th minute, Gheorghe Dorineanu made a precise shot to the right of Dane White. Henley on Thames United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. A collision led to Henley on Thames United getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Seb Rain hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the match, Henley on Thames United's goal looked a bit too open when Gheorghe Dorineanu came free, but Dane White reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denis Brânzaș's late challenge caught a Henley on Thames United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Denis Brânzaș helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Phoenix Strikers getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Denis Brânzaș hit a great ball. Isac Spirea was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Ronny Dines capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ronny Dines really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. 37 minutes into the game, Kelvin Quinn recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Isac Spirea. Kelvin Quinn showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Danny Avery took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isac Spirea. Isac Spirea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 47th minute of the match, Kelvin Quinn tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Isac Spirea saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Denis Brânzaș stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Henley on Thames United's Seb Rain nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isac Spirea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denis Brânzaș got free with Dane White in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 62 minutes into the match, Phoenix Strikers's goal looked a bit too open when Ronny Dines came free, but Isac Spirea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kelvin Quinn blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isac Spirea having to make a save. 72 minutes into the game, Henley on Thames United's Ronny Dines nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isac Spirea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Seb Rain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Henley on Thames United's supporters rose to their feet, but Seb Rain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isac Spirea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isac Spirea came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Henley on Thames United's Ronny Dines. But to his dismay, Ronny Dines quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-1. 82 minutes into the match, Ronny Dines notched a goal, 9-1, to the right of Phoenix Strikers's Isac Spirea. Isac Spirea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Isac Spirea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danny Avery, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. A collision led to Phoenix Strikers getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Cazimir Ceaușu hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Henley on Thames United were the better team. Henley on Thames United's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
