With a little luck, Henley on Thames United's Dane White got control of the ball when Denis Brânzaș tried to sneak it across the goal line. Isac Spirea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kelvin Quinn went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Isac Spirea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dylon Rundle in the 12th minute of the match. Seb Rain's late challenge caught a Phoenix Strikers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Seb Rain helped the player get up and apologised. Nistor Curcă kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. David Mocanu hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Seb Rain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Isac Spirea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Marin Pietreanu made a precise shot to the right of Dane White. Henley on Thames United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Isac Spirea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kelvin Quinn, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 45th minute Danny Avery shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Spirea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

53 minutes into the game, Dylon Rundle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Isac Spirea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nistor Curcă scored 3-3 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dane White, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Dylon Rundle could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Isac Spirea however easily saved by the left post. Marty Summers kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Phoenix Strikers's Gheorghe Dorineanu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Henley on Thames United. Isac Spirea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danny Avery, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isac Spirea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marty Summers in the 67th minute of the match. Isac Spirea had in the 80thth minute some difficulties stopping Tod Summers's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Gavin Chiverton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Isac Spirea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Seb Rain had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isac Spirea. Phoenix Strikers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Seb Rain was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-5. A collision led to Phoenix Strikers getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. David Mocanu hit a great ball. Henley on Thames United's Kelvin Quinn got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, Danny Avery dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Isac Spirea, 3-6. Henley on Thames United's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
