Spectators: 7463 (Terracing: 5598, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Denis Brânzaș kicked off to start the match. After 6 minutes of play, MaLe FC's Ingemar Larsson made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isac Spirea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joakim Biörkman kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Sverker Fanström hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Isac Spirea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan-Olof Duset went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Jan-Olof Duset's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isac Spirea was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. 26 minutes into the game, Nistor Curcă was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Phoenix Strikers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MaLe FC the free kick. In the 26th minute, Nistor Curcă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Ingemar Larsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isac Spirea was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Isac Spirea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Axel Gustavsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ingemar Larsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan-Olof Duset recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Phoenix Strikers getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Aristide Pârlea hit a great ball. In the 40th minute, Cazimir Ceaușu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute, Bo-Erik Jonsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ingemar Larsson made a kick off. If Ingemar Larsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MaLe FC's Sverker Fanström got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ingemar Larsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Isac Spirea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, MaLe FC's Bo-Erik Jonsson got a free kick in the 59th minute. Phoenix Strikers's Isac Spirea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Olof Duset in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd minute Marin Pietreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Blomqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Phoenix Strikers's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Axel Gustavsson came free, but Isac Spirea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th play minute Ingemar Larsson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Isac Spirea. 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Phoenix Strikers's zone, Jan-Olof Duset stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isac Spirea came out of the goal and Jan-Olof Duset tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isac Spirea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karl-Axel Gustavsson in the 78th minute. Ingemar Larsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Isac Spirea made a huge save. Isac Spirea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Olof Duset in the 81st minute of the match. The supporters of MaLe FC booed when Phoenix Strikers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nistor Curcă didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Nistor Curcă was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 85 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Phoenix Strikers's Nistor Curcă got a free kick in the 87th minute. Isac Spirea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ingemar Larsson went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. MaLe FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
