Spectators: 7507 (Terracing: 5631, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Fcion C.A.'s Celso Bilintx started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Fcion C.A. getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Abelardo Perico hit a great ball. Arne Blomqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Enaut in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joakim Biörkman in the 8th minute of play forced Fcion C.A.'s goalkeeper Alonzo Tartalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Celestino Sarracino fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fcion C.A.'s protests and gave Celestino Sarracino a yellow card for diving instead. Celestino Sarracino kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. If Lukas Hedlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan-Olof Duset sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. MaLe FC's Lukas Hedlund got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd minute Jan-Olof Duset shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonzo Tartalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ingemar Larsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonzo Tartalo having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, MaLe FC's goalkeeper Arne Blomqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lino Sanson. Celso Bilintx's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arne Blomqvist firmly grabbed it by the left post. Zebastian Sörman hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. When Lukas Hedlund came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the MaLe FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lukas Hedlund couldn't finish the play. If Ingemar Larsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute, MaLe FC's Jan-Olof Duset ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alonzo Tartalo. Alonzo Tartalo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. After a rather tough play, MaLe FC's Ingemar Larsson got a free kick in the 56th minute. MaLe FC's Jan-Olof Duset got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jan-Olof Duset was extremely unlucky when he, in the 63rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Alonzo Tartalo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Olof Duset in the 65th minute of the match. With a little luck, Fcion C.A.'s Alonzo Tartalo got control of the ball when Ingemar Larsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as MaLe FC's Lukas Hedlund slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alonzo Tartalo. That made the score 0-2 after 71 minutes of play. In the 75th minute, MaLe FC's Jan-Olof Duset ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alonzo Tartalo. Alonzo Tartalo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Arne Blomqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Bilintx in the 78th minute of play. Lino Sanson might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arne Blomqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lino Sanson ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Edgard Enaut managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fcion C.A.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Edgard Enaut was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arne Blomqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 85 minutes into the match, Lino Sanson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arne Blomqvist. MaLe FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lino Sanson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. MaLe FC's Arne Blomqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Bilintx in the 93rd minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Lino Sanson notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of MaLe FC's Arne Blomqvist. Arne Blomqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
