The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bancruz F.C's Genaro Handi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Larry Blackwell in the 4th minute of play. Damaso Chinto charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damaso Chinto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 5 played minutes Bancruz F.C got a freekick which was hit by Damaso Chinto. The supporters of Bancruz F.C booed when Leicester Foxes Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodd Newlyn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Genaro Handi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Larry Blackwell in the 31st minute of play forced Bancruz F.C's goalkeeper Genaro Handi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Bancruz F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Larry Blackwell came free, but Genaro Handi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Genaro Handi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodd Newlyn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Bancruz F.C getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. David Jenaro hit a great ball. After the first half Leicester Foxes Academy were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Larry Blackwell was the one to do the kick off. Dominic Linkletter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Liberto in the 58th minute of play. After 67 played minutes Leicester Foxes Academy got a freekick which was hit by Rodd Newlyn. After a rather tough play, Bancruz F.C's Anselmo Liberto got a free kick in the 71st minute. The supporters of Leicester Foxes Academy booed when Bancruz F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelio Naike didn't get a good kick on the ball.
