The supporters of Encarale a la gordita booed when Torekov was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elof Karlsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute of the match Sergio Lekubegi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kristian Albom showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Kurt Bergendahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Encarale a la gordita getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Lucas Etxeberri hit a great ball. When Aurelio Quilino fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Encarale a la gordita's protests and gave Aurelio Quilino a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Encarale a la gordita's Aurelio Quilino got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Kristian Albom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Erasto in the 29th minute of play. When Sergio Lekubegi came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Encarale a la gordita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergio Lekubegi couldn't finish the play. 41 minutes into the game, Genaro Gartxot cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Kristian Albom was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 44 minutes into the match, Torekov's goal looked a bit too open when Blas Erasto came free, but Kristian Albom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Encarale a la gordita were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Ulf Ersman made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernst Strömberg in the 53rd minute of play forced Encarale a la gordita's goalkeeper Alfonso Igon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute, Ramon Berenguer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kristian Albom was a little too slow when Genaro Gartxot got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 0-2. Torekov's Kristian Albom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Torekov from getting a goal against them. In the 88th minute, Encarale a la gordita's Genaro Gartxot ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kristian Albom. Kristian Albom yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. In the 92nd match minute, Encarale a la gordita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Etxeberri to maneuver through the defense.
