Robert Lewandowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldemar Klawke having to interfere. Dobromir Ciborek's late challenge caught a KS Zryw Rybitwy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dobromir Ciborek helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to WKS Śląsk Wrocław getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Dobromir Ciborek hit a great ball. KS Zryw Rybitwy's Ignacy Kochanowski shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 7th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Sylwester Smuskiewicz but with some difficulty. Sylwester Smuskiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juliusz Mentis in the 8th minute of the match. Jacek Pilarski charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacek Pilarski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th minute Ludomil Jaszcz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Klawke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sylwester Smuskiewicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juliusz Mentis's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Sylwester Smuskiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tytus Rydzyk in the 22nd minute of play. Waldemar Klawke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Lewandowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After 32 played minutes WKS Śląsk Wrocław got a freekick which was hit by Dobromir Ciborek. Sylwester Smuskiewicz came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by KS Zryw Rybitwy's Ignacy Kochanowski. But to his dismay, Ignacy Kochanowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juliusz Mentis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ludomil Jaszcz hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute Juliusz Mentis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sylwester Smuskiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juliusz Mentis in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sylwester Smuskiewicz saved WKS Śląsk Wrocław from getting behind. Lech Niziolek charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lech Niziolek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lech Niziolek hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After 63 minutes, Ludomil Jaszcz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the WKS Śląsk Wrocław and the KS Zryw Rybitwy players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Robert Lewandowski fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored WKS Śląsk Wrocław's protests and gave Robert Lewandowski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th match minute, WKS Śląsk Wrocław was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Lewandowski to maneuver through the defense. Sylwester Smuskiewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juliusz Mentis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, KS Zryw Rybitwy's Waldemar Klawke got control of the ball when Robert Lewandowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Waldemar Klawke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wit Sobania in the 87th minute. 94 minutes into the game, KS Zryw Rybitwy's Juliusz Mentis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sylwester Smuskiewicz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1.
